From 2018/2/27 (JST), the "Bookmark" icon on pixiv for PC and smartphones will switch from ☆ to ♡.

Although the icon will change, the "Bookmark" function will remain the same.
Just like before, you'll be able to save your favorite works to see them again later by clicking on the ♡ icon.
Since pixiv's official app has already adopted the ♡ icon, now you'll be able to bookmark a work by clicking on ♡ on any device.

This change will have no influence on rankings or on search by popularity.




We decided to adopt the general ♡ icon, already used in services worldwide to indicate favorites, for the following reasons:
・pixiv functions will become more easily understandable in all regions thanks to the universally recognized ♡ icon.
・users will be inclined to use the new ♡ icon more proactively to bookmark works they enjoy.
